IAN WARNING TURNS BACK THE YEARS ON THE DRUM STOOL
Many thanks to lifesaver Ian Humphrey for dusting down his drum kit and turning out for Verbal Warning again last weekend – at the shortest of notices!
Ian left the band in 2015 though has helped out once before - this time, though, it was literally a few hours notice and no rehearsals after a family illness saw Ant have to suddenly bow out of shows at Long Eaton Stumble Inn and Belper Nag's Head.
Needless to say Ian did us proud and both gigs were stormers!
Ant is expected back on the stool for this Saturday's gig at The Lion at Basford.
We are also hoping to have a new stock of the original black and white Verbal Warning logo tee shirts in all sizes and in both black and white by the weekend too, having all but run out of them in recent weeks.
Limited numbers of the drum logo and punk rock duck tees remain but not in all sizes.
However, we do have a big range of sizes in all three designs in ladies' strappy tees.
The gig diary is now starting to look very full for this year with only a few spare dates left to fill - so if you want us to play for you, please tell us sooner than later.
We will definitely be at the Under The Castle Festival in June and the Blyth Power Ashes near Brighton in August and are still waiting on confirmation on a couple of big festival appearances.
See our gig page for current dates.
The queue for throwing ducks at us was a little packed at Belper Nag's Head!
