BUSY 2026 AHEAD FOR VERBAL WARNING

A very Happy New Year from Verbal Warning as we launch into a very busy 2026 with a new EP and the 45th anniversary of our debut gig now behind us last month.

Gigs are pouring in for this year and we have a few we are particularly looking forward to.

On Friday 8th February we will be playing Stapleford's Old Cross as part of Broxtowe Borough Council Friday18 programme of free gigs for the town.

They have organised six free gigs on successive Fridays at different town venues, all starting at 6pm and lasting an hour. So it's a great way to start your weekend and get some early doors live music. See the poster for full details and give it your support.

We will be playing at the Victoria in Coalville for the first time in yonks on Saturday, 27th June as part of the Never Mind the Festivals Here's The Bollocks one-dayer bill.

Headliners are the legendary GBH and some other great names like Poundaflesh and Eastfield.

Tickets are now on sale HERE

And we are absolutely delighted to be making a return to the fantastic Whitwell Festival of Music on Friday, 11th September.

Full line-up is yet to be announced but we know the marvellous Headsticks are playing.

This time we will be the party-starters, opening the indoor stage on the Friday night.

Tickets are on sale now HERE

We will be playing Saturday dinnertime at the annual Blyth Power Ashes Festival, now being staged at Radford Mill Farm, Timsbury, near Bath from Friday, 21st August. Tickets HERE

We will be playing twice at the Lumley in Skegness for the first time – the first one on Friday, 28th August, and the second as part of their Ska-Vegas scooter rally on Friday, 2nd October.

We also have another festival date on Saturday, 5th September once confirmed and announced.

Our full gig list so far is on the web site and we expect a few more still to be added.

Don't forget to get your copy of the new Revolutions 45 four-track EP. You can buy a physical copy from us at gigs or order via the post.

It is available to stream or download at the usual outlets but please try to buy from Bandcamp on a Friday if possible as that is commission free to the bands!

We are continuing to work on new songs towards a new VW album!

See you at a gig very soon x
