GLASTONWICK RETURN AND 45th ANNIVERSARY GIG 2025

VW are delighted to be back at the fantastic Glastonwick Festival in 2025.

Organised by legendary punk-poet Attila The Stockbroker, we have played Glastonwick several times down the last 20 years and it is a superb festival in idyllic surroundings on Coombe Farm, near Shoreham by Sea.

Even better, it also includes a big beer festival on site too.

This is the festival's 30th anniversary and will include a host of names who have played in the past.

Initial confirmations so far include Wob Williams, Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Pauline Vallanc, Dr Bongo, Charlie Harper from UK Subs, Charred Hearts, Blyth Power, Eastfield, Jess Silk, brilliant comedian Robin Ince, Muddy Summers & the DFWs, Joe Solo, Captain Hotknives and Zombie Met Girl.

VW are now heading towards their final batch of 2024 gigs with three new venues for the band before the turn of the year.

First ever trips to the Greyhound at Woodville Green, the Royal Oak at Tibshelf and the Keyworth Tavern are looming – hope to see you there.

The Greyhound gig on 22nd November sees out November next weekend.

December will see us play Derby Horse & Groom, Tibshelf, Long Eaton's Stumble Inn, Keyworth and Beeston's Boat & Horses pre-Christmas before a post Christmas 2024 finale at the Lion in Basford – see the gig guide.

Gigs are already pouring in for 2025, including appearances at Belper Punk Festival, Blyth Power Ashes Festival and Long Eaton Carnival plus a verbal agreement for Rock & Bike Festival too.

Don't forget, 7th December 2025 is the 45th anniversary of VW's first ever gig with the original line up and we will be celebrating that milestone with a very special show at Ilkeston Latch Lifter – get the date in your diary now!

Oh – and we are working on the next album at long last!

We debuted new track Burning the Candle at Both Ends at a gig last week – expect more new material as we complete it!
