We are already almost halfway through another frantic year and Verbal Warning still have plenty to look forward to in a busy 2026.

We have just been added as an extra support act for the legendary Peter & The Test Tube Babies at Nottingham's Salutation Inn on Sunday, 5th July.

Also on the bill are The Cars That Ate Paris and Truth Equals Reason. TICKETS HERE

We had a great time playing for the Skegness Scooter Festival at the Ship & Atlantic for the first May Bank Holiday and have already been booked in for the same day and slot – Sunday 3pm – for next year and onwards. Cheers to all who turned out to support us.

Festival season is in full swing and our next one is at The Victoria Bikers pub in Coalville for the one day Never Mind the Festivals Here's The Bollocks.

GBH will be topping a bill that includes Eastfield, Poundaflesh, Fighting Evil is Cool!, Molly Vulpyne Band, Leech Bleeders, Any Minute No, Spectrum 4 and Steam Kittens.

That is 10 bands for around £20 with camping and other accommodation available too. TICKETS HERE

Then we have the fantastic annual Rock & Bike Festival in Breaston on 9th-11th July.

We do not yet know what day or time we will be playing but it's always a cracker and we look forward to sharing a bill once again with the legendary Showaddywaddy!

Tickets are on sale for £70 for the three days, including camping, but we do have a handful of £60 Early Bird tickets still if anyone wants to save a few quid. Give us a shout or see us at a VW gig. ONLINE TICKETS HERE

We will be playing on the Saturday at 8pm for this year's Blyth Power Ashes Festival on 21st-23rd August at Radford Mill Farm in Timsbury, near Bath, a new venue for us but a regular on our festival circuit and great value. TICKETS HERE

A fantastic and very different addition to our gig list will be on Tuesday, 1st September at Long Eaton's Duchess Theatre.

Long Eaton Operatic Society (LEOs) are putting on a production of the Green Day musical American Idiot, which should be great on its own.

But for opening night only we have been invited to jump up and warm up the audience with a half-hour VW set. Don't miss that! What a great night that should be. TICKETS HERE

On Friday, 28th August we are back in Skegness for more festival shenanigans on the outdoor stage at the Lumley.

Then on Saturday, 5th September we play the DH Lawrence Festival in Eastwood. We will be on the Punk Stage at the Three Tuns pub – time slot to be announced.

The weekend after that is the superb Whitwell Festival (11th-13th September) where we will be party-starters on the indoor stage on the Friday night. Time to be confirmed but expected to be 7.30pm. TICKETS HERE

Our last festival outing currently looks to be back at Skegness Lumley on Friday, 2nd October for their Ska-Vegas weekend.

We have loads of pub and club gigs along the way too and will be rounding off the year with a big New Year's Eve show at Presley's Bar in Kirk Hallam.

New venues ahead for us are The Inn in the Middle in Langley Mill and The Mousetrap Social opposite the Theatre Royal in Nottingham.

You may notice a different but familiar face behind the drum kit at some of the upcoming gigs as Ant is unavailable for a time due to some immediate family business, but Ian Warning, who left the band 11 years ago after 10 years' sterling service, has agreed to pick up the sticks once more in his absence and learn our new songs and made his triumphant return last week at Whitwell's Holmefield Arms.

We expect to have at least one more really big new gig announcement to come this year for November but it's under wraps for now until confirmed.

Anyone contemplating seeing us at the new Devon Rebels Festival in Ilfracombe, Devon, next April, take note, due to an issue with the venue, it has been moved back to April 2028. More on that nearer the time.

Cheers all, summer well and see you down the front very soon x
