HERE COMES FESTIVAL SEASON AGAIN!
Summer is almost here and Verbal Warning are looking forward to our first two big festivals of the year.
On 2nd June we play the Under The Castle festival at the Oxcroft Centre, Stanfree, Chesterfield, on a bill alongside the likes of Dr & The Medics, Rusty Shackle, Headsticks and Tony Wright from Terrorvision.
The festival is sold out apart from a handful of Friday only tickets – we are onstage that night at 5.40-6.10pm.
Saturday and weekend tickets are all gone.
But there are still tickets available for the mighty Rock n Bike Festival on 6th-8th July, this year at a brand new venue at the Notts Derby Showground on Longmoor Lane at the Long Eaton/Breaston border.
Early worries about how much space would be available have been alleviated by organisers spending thousands more on extra land rental – so all cars, camper vans and tents will now have plenty of room to enjoy.
We have no definite stage time as yet though believe we may be playing on the Friday – watch this space.
But with so many good tribute and local bands on why would you not want to spend the whole weekend there?
For ease if you are relatively local, you can buy Rock n Bike tickets - cash sales only - from:
HARRYS HOME IMPROVEMENTS, 8 MARKET PLACE, LONGEATON
YE OLDE SALUTATION INN, MAID MARION WAY, NOTTINGHAM
THE GROOM ROOM, HIGH STREET, TIBSHELF
TOTAL HIRE AND SALES, LONDON ROAD, DERBY
STREET MACHINE, 189 DERBY ROAD, STAPLEFORD
After a five week break following a great gig near Coventry City FC's ground we were back in double action last weekend at Underwood and then Derby.
Cheers all who turned out and made it two great gigs.
For the next handful of gigs, including the two big festivals and the trip to Horncastle near Skegness, we welcome back young Sam Hadfield onto lead guitar duties with regular axeman Steve Harding due back with us mid-summer.
In the meantime get your tickets and tents at the ready and hope for festival sunshine. Seeya at the front!
