FIRST TWO GIGS SINCE MARCH ANNOUNCED

Inevitably more VW gigs are being cancelled as the Covid crisis continues.

But, amid the misery, we do have some good news – we are set to play our first live gig back after Lockdown, albeit as a slimmed down three-piece acoustic band.

We will be playing outside in the beer garden at the Stumble Inn in Long Eaton on Saturday, 5th September (7-9pm).

You are advised to book a table in advance to make sure there is room for you.We will also be performing the outdoor acoustic show at the Horse and Groom in Derby the following day, Sunday, 6th September from 4pm.

We have one or two venues now looking at the possibilities of putting us on in that format for the time being – and the acoustic shows are great fun.

On the minus side, the Blyth Power Ashes Festival in Chalvington, near Lewes, in Sussex has been cancelled over August Bank Holiday.

And we have lost the scheduled gigs at Ilkeston Latch Lifter, Newark Organ Grinder, Belper Nag's Head and Langley Mill Bunny Hop as well as our eagerly anticipated 'weekend world tour' of Lincolnshire!

A hoped-for gig at the CAMRA Robin Hood Beer Festival remains in the balance with the event being tentatively moved from October to November at Nottingham Arena but hopes in the balance of it happening at all.

Horncastle Old Nick's Tavern have not cancelled yet for 27th September but the chances of indoors live music by then are almost nil.

That will take us to mid-October at Derby and Stapleford – watch this space and keep everything crossed!
