MINEHEAD AND WHITWELL FESTIVALS GIGS ADDED

As we get closer and closer to our big show on the main stage of The Great British Alternative Festival at Butlins, Skegness, this October, we are thrilled to also now be asked to play on the Introducing Stage of the same festival at their Butlins, Minehead, incarnation on Friday, 28th February next year. That gives us another 'battle of the bands' with tough opposition once more in the brilliant Duncan Reid and the Big Heads (4pm), plus Bus Station Loonies (6pm) and Red Light Rebels (7pm).

Our slot is a 45-minute set at 5pm. Hope to see some of you there to throw ducks and vote for us!

But plenty to look forward to before that with 36 shows currently booked ahead of Minehead.

Apart from Skegness with the likes of the Stranglers and Sham 69, among the highlights are a 45-minute set on the marquee stage of Long Eaton Carnival on West Park (Saturday, 22nd June, 8pm) with live music in there from 1pm and some great bands.

At the Rock & Bike Festival at South Normanton's Carnfield Hall on 11th-13th July, we won't be opening the show with our usual electric set this time but will play an acoustic, unplugged set on the Saturday (12.45-1.30pm).

The MFN Punx Party on Saturday, 27th July will see us play with the mighty Dirtbox Disco plus another band still to be confirmed.

You can stay over and camp after the gig – tents can be set up after 2pm – and music starts at 7pm. Advance tickets are £8 or it's a tenner on the door. We hope to have tickets at our gigs very soon.

At the Blyth Power Ashes on Sunday, 25th August at the Hunter's Inn, Longden, near Tewksbury, we are onstage 9.10-9.50pm.

But please come on down for the whole weekend and drink with us. It's a four-night job from the Friday and dirt cheap.

The bill is also looking good for the one-day Potteries Alternative & Punk Summer Party at Stoke Underground – more on that nearer the time.

We have also been added to the bill of the Whitwell Festival on Saturday, 7th September with names like Toyah, Tony Wright of Terrorvision, Nick Harper, Nick Parker, Blue Carpet Band, Jess Silk, and Mollie Manders.

The search goes on for our new guitarist, who we need in place by October – message us if you fancy the role!
